U.S. Marshals found and arrested the suspect in a dangerous Illinois hit-and-run in a Texas town south of Dallas.

Juan Jahaziel Saenz Suarez, a 27-year-old Mexican citizen of Urbana, Illinois, is accused of hitting 21-year-old Chloe Polzin and Kathryn Abraham in a crash in Urbana just before 2 a.m. on January 19.

Authorities said investigators identified Saenz-Suarez as the owner of the red Mitsubishi Outlander that caused the fatal crash, and authorities obtained a warrant for his arrest on Jan. 20, Urbana police said in a press release Wednesday.

The US Marshals Service (USMS) “found Saint Suarez in Milford, Texas, about an hour south of Dallas,” police said.

“The following request for assistance has been forwarded to the USMS (Northern District of Texas (N/TX) North Texas Fugitive Task Force),” the USMS said in a separate press release. “Deputy United States Marshals (DUSM) and USMS Task Force Officers (TFO) safely took Saenz-Suarez at 0915 hours CST for further transportation to the Dallas County Jail, Texas for extradition.”

According to USMS, the two victims were stopped at a red light when Saenz-Suarez rear-ended them. Other passengers were injured in the accident.

USMS Saenz Suarez has already been deported from the United States once before.

“This type of partnership is important to local law enforcement, and I want to thank the women and men of the Urbana Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for their efforts to apprehend Saenz Suarez,” said Urbana Police Chief Larry DiBone. In a statement on Wednesday.
