Trump’s ‘blacklist’: The president-elect defines the type he doesn’t want to hire.
Just days before his January 20 inauguration, President-elect Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post that the incoming administration has hired more than 1,000 people to work for the US government.
He also pointed out that individuals who have worked with or supported people suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” are not desirable job candidates.
Trump named former National Security Adviser John Bolton, former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence and others, and indicated that those who worked with or were approved by those individuals should not be floated for nomination.

“As of today, the incoming Trump administration has hired over 1,000 people into the US government. They are fantastic in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor in the coming years. We will make America great again. And it will happen very quickly!” The incoming commander-in-chief said in the post.
“To save time, money and effort, it would be helpful if you didn’t send or recommend people who have worked with or supported Americans for Prosperity (chaired by Charles Koch). Haley and Pence made bids for the GOP presidential nomination in the most recent election cycle, but both ultimately declined. Haley endorsed Trump, while Pence declined.

In the year Cheney, who was one of 10 House Republicans to vote to impeach Trump following the Capitol uprising on Jan. 6, 2021, has been an outspoken Trump critic over the years. She endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris last year, and campaigned with the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee.
Ryan, a former speaker of the House, told Yahoo Finance last year that he would not vote for Trump but plans to write in the Republican Party, as they did last time.
Romney was one of seven GOP senators who voted to impeach Trump after the 2021 House impeachment inquiry. In the year In 2020, Romney voted to convict Trump on one of two counts of impeachment. In the year Romney, who indicated he would not vote for Trump in 2016 or 2020, announced last year that he would not vote for Trump in 2024.
John Bolton declared the defense budget to be the ‘foreign priority of the day’.

Bolton, an outspoken Trump supporter, said on the BBC’s “HARDtalk” last year that he did not think the candidates were qualified to serve as president and would not vote for any of them.
