WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President-elect Donald Trump will take a victory lap on Sunday in a campaign-like rally in Washington, D.C., a day before he is sworn in for a second term four years after losing the White House to Joe Biden.

Trump’s “Make America Great Again” rally – scheduled for 3pm ET (1900 GMT) Capital one (NYSE: ) Arena – gave his first major speech in Washington after encouraging supporters to march on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in protest of his defeat.

Earlier Sunday, Trump will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. In the evening, he addresses well-heeled supporters at a dinner party in Washington.

The inauguration was scheduled for Monday at noon ET (1600 GMT) with Trump taking the presidential oath of office at the Capitol after the cold weather forced organizers to move the event indoors. About 25,000 law enforcement personnel are on hand to maintain security.
