The young quarterback’s ability to stay under pressure and stay in control earned him praise from the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady. The former NFL star compared Daniels to Tiger Woods during the episode “let go!” Podcast.

“How do we evaluate confidence? How do we evaluate soundness? Because some people have them. The moments aren’t too big for them,” Brady said. “They look at the challenge, and they think, ‘Man, it’s going to be amazing when we go out and beat these guys.’ And other people look at the challenge and go, ‘Yeah man, I really don’t want to fail.'” And the fear of failure planted in many people early in life keeps them from having the ultimate belief in themselves, which allows them to grow to their full potential.

“So even though Jayden Daniels is still a rookie, he has poise and confidence. Think about it, another relationship, look at a young Tiger Woods. He’s never proven on the big stage that he’s ready for those big moments. At the ’97 Masters, he told himself that he didn’t care who he won. He confirmed.

Daniels appeared to maintain a one-game-at-a-time mentality when talking to reporters about the possibility of going to the Super Bowl with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

If the Chiefs win the NFC Championship, it will be their first Super Bowl appearance since the 1991 season when the organization was known as the Washington Redskins. Daniels would become the first starting quarterback to lead a team to a Super Bowl.

“I don’t even think about it until then. It’s an obvious blessing, but I’m just focused on how I can be better day by day,” he said. Pro football talk.
