As Fox News Channel’s “The Will Cain Show” premieres Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, the “incredibly curious” host says he’s ready to bring his unique take on opinion and news gathering to the program.

Will Cain, who previously co-hosted “FOX & Friends Weekend,” will move to afternoons, where his new solo daytime program will cover all things politics, business, culture and sports.

“I’m an incredibly curious person, and one of the fun challenges of this new job is the transition from news to commentary. I do both in a day,” Cain told Fox News Digital.

“I give viewers my honest opinion, my unbiased opinion on the news. But I also report and give the audience the information they need on the day to help them make up their own minds.” He continued. “I’m going to be very professional, but I’m also going to have fun.”

Cain says his new show will be “spontaneous” and “immediate,” but he’s not afraid to try new things to keep viewers engaged.

“I’m going to do a deep dive analysis, and it’s going to be an evolution,” Cain said.

“Like every television show, it’s going to evolve over time. And I ask and I look forward to the audience going along with me on that ride,” Cain said. “You know, it might not be where we started, but I think we all understood the spirit of the show that we wanted to open.”

Cain says he’s heard words of encouragement from various Fox News stars, and the most frequent piece of advice he hears is to “simply be yourself.”

“You have to lean into what’s unique to you or what’s your strength,” he said, adding that he’s not looking to copy a particular program.

“It makes me feel grateful,” Cain said.

The Fox News Media Spotlight Awards recognize team members who have gone above and beyond in 2024.

“One of the privileges of hosting ‘FOX & Friends Weekend’ over the past five years is seeing what you call the President of the United States or former President of the United States on Saturday and Sunday,” he added. I saw us say goodbye to them on Sunday.”
