The Trump family will head to Washington before Inauguration Day.
President-elect Trump boarded a special Air Force One plane for his historic visit to Washington, DC on Saturday afternoon.
Trump, his wife Melania and their youngest son Barron began their trip to the nation’s capital from West Palm Beach, Florida, waving to the crowd before heading up the stairs.
A few hours later, Trump landed in Sterling, Virginia, where he will host an evening reception and fireworks display at the Trump National Golf Club.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner joined the Air Force One on a special air mission plane.

Trump’s middle son Eric and daughter-in-law Lara were separated on the president-elect’s private jet in Florida.
During the plane ride, Eric Trump took to X, sharing a “renewed hope and spirit for his country.”
“The past 10 years have been a constant battle – countless rallies, television appearances, court orders, depositions and weeks in the cold,” Eric Trump wrote in the post. In the courts. “Through endless attacks on my family, the company I lead and the employees we care for, we have faced defamation, fake news, home invasions and countless games designed to break us.”

His immediate family – including wife Lara and children Luke and Carolina – joined him on the trip to DC.
Eric Trump wrote that “every (his) fight” is for his children and their future generations. “This time America won,” he added.
“Against all odds, we made it together with this country’s amazing people and the greatest political movement in history,” Eric Trump wrote. “I’ve never been prouder of anyone than I (Donald Trump). He stood firm, he truly had the courage of iron. Our country is in many hands. The madness is over, America is in an era of renewal.”
On Sunday, Trump will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a “Make America Great Again” rally at Arlington National Cemetery, followed by a candlelight dinner.
The inauguration will take place at noon on Monday in the Capitol Rotunda, due to the temperature in the area. Then Trump, the second president in history to win non-consecutive terms, will deliver his inaugural address.
