Suzuki's first BEV "e VITAR" receives eAxle by Investing.com

TOKYO, Jan. 20, 2025 (JCN Newswire) — The eAxle, jointly developed by Blue Nexus Corporation, Aisin Corporation and DENSO (OTC:) Corporation, will be installed on Suzuki’s first mass-produced battery electric vehicle (BEV) model. , E. Vitara.

E Vitara is designed based on the concept of “emotional versatile cruiser”. The vehicle has a design that combines a modern and powerful feel with a BEV powertrain that delivers the fast and sharp driving performance expected from a BEV.

The newly adopted eAxle uses a smaller motor and inverter to achieve higher power density and higher dynamic performance. In addition, the loss reduction technology results in excellent electricity consumption.

The product is supplied by BlueE’s Indian subsidiary Blue Nexus Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. and manufactured in India, will manufacture the vehicle in the same country as Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited, contributing to the distribution of Suzuki BEVs in countries around the world in line with market demand.

BlueE, IC, and DNSO will continue to leverage their respective strengths and expertise to produce compact, highly efficient, low-cost products.
