Spirit Airlines does not allow passengers with inappropriate clothing or tattoos to fly.
Spirit Airlines has updated its policy to include a strict dress code for passengers.
The update, which took effect on January 22, states that a passenger may be denied boarding or removed from a flight because of their clothing or offensive tattoos.
The additions to the contract state that passengers wearing inadequate clothing, such as exposing breasts, buttocks or other parts, may be kicked to the ground.

The contract made it clear that passengers may not be barefoot, which is also the policy of other airlines. Another spirit policy, the appearance of offensive tattoos, is not a common reason for removal.
The new policy comes after clothing violations caused problems for some Spirit passengers.
