Shubman Gill slams critics with brilliant 100 for Punjab in Ranji Trophy

India’s star batsman Shubman Gill made his Ranji Trophy return on Day 3 between Karnataka and Punjab at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. With this knock, he made a big statement about his return to form after several low results.

Gill, who is leading the state Punjab, failed in the first over of the match and was dismissed for just 4 runs. He came under pressure going into the second innings but produced an innings full of class and maturity.

Shubman Gill reached the three-figure mark in just 159 balls. His knock included 14 fours and 3 sixes. The knock was exceptional as the other Punjab batsmen were dismissed for low scores.

However, Gill stayed at one end and showed why he is so revered in Indian cricket circles. He scored more than half of the team’s runs on his way to a brilliant century.
