SCOR UK has appointed a new Chief Underwriting Officer
Reinsurance company SCOR has named Henry Mummy-Young as the new Chief Operating Officer (CUO) for SCOR UK and active secretary for SCOR Syndicate 2015.
The appointment is pending regulatory approval.
Mummé-Young will be responsible for managing the underwriting strategy and execution of SCOR’s UK operations and Lloyd’s Syndicate capabilities.
He steps into the role previously held by Marie Bigas, now appointed SCOR Business Solutions and FAC CUO.
In his new position, Mumme-Young will report to Chris Beazley, CEO of SCOR UK & SCOR Syndicate.

In the year In 2021, he was promoted to head of the global line for political and credit risks, expanding his expertise in both the syndicate and company markets.
Mumme-Young honed his writing skills at ACE and Freelance before joining SCOR.

SCOR Syndicate 2015 is known for direct, specialty insurance business, property ownership and specialty segments.
These include cyber, environmental impairment liability, artwork, legal remedies, political and credit risks, renewable energy and terrorism and political violence.
