Ric Flair’s legendary career may not be. The popular actor recently gave a big update on his upcoming Ring season.

Ric Flair is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He has been struggling for decades. Flair had his first taste of retirement in 2008 after losing to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24 but that wasn’t the end of his career as he returned to the ring a year later and competed for TNA Wrestling until 2011.

After spending 11 years out of the ring, he returned for one more match in 2022. He was joined by his brother-in-law Andrade along with J Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. The match turned fatal for the natural boy but he managed to walk away safely. Despite this, he appeared for AE and was in Sting’s corner during his retirement match. The veteran attended the game in person. However, Flair left the company shortly before competing in his own tournament.

In a recent interview on the Five Star podcast, Flair was asked if he had one more match left in him. Nature’s son replied:

“Yes, I will.” (H/T Warrior)

Ric Flair explains why he won’t let Tony Khan compete in AEW.

Ric Flair joins AEW to be part of Sting’s farewell tour. However, he never participated until the end. Flair was teased about being physically involved in the build-up, but he never stepped into the ring to compete.

This left fans hoping to see Naitch back in the ring a bit disappointed. However, Flair has an explanation for why he is not allowed to compete in the AEE.

The WWE Hall of Famer spoke on the same podcast. Tony Khan refused to allow him to compete after finding out that he was on blood thinners..

“Once Tony (Khan) found out I was on blood thinners, he wouldn’t let me in the ring,” Flair said.

It will be interesting to see if Ric Flair is serious enough to wrestle one more match.
