Parents looking for “Hoop Little Bunnies” and other nursery rhymes to entertain their kids will soon have nowhere to go but YouTube.
Rachel Acurso has reached a deal with Netflix and four episodes will be available to stream on the platform starting Monday, January 27th, which “include interactive lessons that teach letters, numbers, colors, shapes and more.”
The episodes will be in English with subtitles available in 33 languages, Netflix says.

Mothers of babies rejoiced on social networks after the announcement.
“Thank God lol I’m so tired of my YouTube being filled with her,” one mom wrote. Facebook group. “Now I can just go on Netflix.”
“Finally getting rid of YouTube ads!” shouted another.
“Omg I can cancel youtube premium now,” the teenage mom wrote.

The creator of viral educational content on babies and toddlers, who seems bound to resonate with some of her audience, added, “You can’t watch this show because of this support for commenters. They’re going to love your way too much,” she said.
In the year Akkurso revealed in 2023 that she was forced to take a “mental health break” after parents complained about co-star Jules Hoffmann calling her by the pronouns “they” and “them” on the show. Hoffman is transgender and non-binary.

Akkurso was monitored when she announced a fundraiser to benefit children in conflict-affected areas, including Gaza. Jewish mothers called YouTube a sensation for failing to mention the Jewish children who were killed or those who were kidnapped on October 7. Many others questioned why Akurso does not raise money for the children of Israel affected by the war. Accurso later disabled comments on the fundraising post and a Description on Instagram.
