Miami Dolphins Week 18 injury report Tua Tagovailoa
The Denver Broncos fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime on the road last weekend, ending the Miami Dolphins’ postseason hopes and missing a chance to make their first postseason trip in eight years. Thanks to that result and their win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 17, the Dolphins are still in the postseason.
In Week 18, the Dolphins will face the 4-12 New York Jets, who are currently ranked seventh in the 2025 NFL Draft. If Miami wins and the Broncos lose at home to the Kansas City Chiefs, they will be in the playoffs for the third straight season.
Miami’s injury report for the crucial Week 18 game is below.

Miami Dolphins Week 18 Injury Report
The Miami Dolphins’ injury situation is still dominated by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s hip problem, but three players missed all of practice Wednesday due to injuries.
Additionally, offensive tackle Kendall Lamm was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. It’s unclear what Lamm has put on injured reserve after missing Week 16 games against the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland on Sunday with a back injury in Week 15 against the Houston Texans.
Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (knee), safety Jordan Poyer (knee/finger) and offensive tackle Theron Armstead (knee) missed Miami’s practice on Wednesday. Defenseman Calais Campbell (rest) was also DNP, but did not sustain an injury.
Walker missed last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns and did not return to practice. As for Armstead, he went down with a knee injury in the first half of last weekend’s game and did not return.
Four other key Dolphins players were also listed as limited participants in Wednesday’s practice: safety Jevon Holland (wrist), punter Jake Bailey (back), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee), wide receiver Tyreke Hill (wrist/rest) and Tagovailoa (hip). ).
Tagovailoa is dealing with a hip injury he suffered against the Houston Texans in Week 15. He was able to play against the injury in Week 16 against the 49ers, but he missed last week against the Browns.
Coach Mike McDaniel announced Wednesday that the team will have backup quarterback Tyler Huntley ready as the QB1 for Week 18. He also said he will have time to return to Tagovailoa as the week progresses if he is fully recovered.
Linebacker Duke Riley fully participated in Wednesday’s practice despite a foot problem on the injury report.
