McDonald’s rolls out Pokemon Happy Meals in the US.

McDonald’s super popular Pokemon Happy Meals are back.
U.S. restaurants began selling the limited-time Happy Meal menu on Tuesday and will continue to offer it while supplies last, the fast-food chain said.
“There’s nothing more exciting than working with our partners to bring campaigns to our fans that we believe are our own fans,” said Gillam Huynh, McDonald’s senior director of marketing, in a statement. “As much as they do for McDonald’s, our fans have a deep nostalgia and passion for the Pokémon brand.”
According to McDonald’s, those who order Happy Meals “have a chance to meet a variety of Pokemon, including the beloved Dragon-type Pokemon.”
McDonald’s has extended its first new value menu, $5 meal deals.
This was made possible with posters and stickers for the Pokemon Trading Card Game “Enhancement” four-card pack along with Happy Meals.

In partnership with The Pokemon Company International, the fast-food giant has 15 different Pokemon trading cards — each featuring a different Pokemon — that happy food shoppers can find.

McDonald’s customers can expect their Happy Meal boxes to play Pokemon themselves. The three versions of the boxes will contain one Pokemon — Charizard, Rayquaza or Roaring Moon — and the other a Pikachu and Dragon likeness, McDonald said.
McDonald’s will re-introduce the beloved snack next year
The fast food giant has paired Happy Meal with Pokemon cards several times in the past. In the year In 2021, for example, the companies gave away Pokemon trading cards in Happy Meals with Pikachu on the boxes to celebrate Pokemon’s 25th anniversary. Fox News Digital reported.

This time around, McDonald’s says Pokemon Happy Meals ordered through the app will earn fast-food customers an in-game bonus at no cost to the Pokemon mobile trading card game.
