Liverpool great Jamie Carragher rated each of the Premier League clubs in his mid-season report, with Manchester United coming out worst.

Carragher said he would have given Arne Slott’s side an A+ if they hadn’t kept points at home to Nottingham Forest and Fulham. Forest, managed by former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, have earned an A+ from Carragher for their impressive performances this season.

Liverpool leads the league table with 39 points, while Chelsea and Arsenal are in second and third place with 35 and 33 points respectively. Last year’s champions Manchester City have lost six of their 17 matches and have been awarded an E+.

Manchester United have been extremely poor this season and currently sit 13th in the league table. Midway through the campaign, they sacked former manager Erik ten Haag and brought in Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP. However, the Portuguese has found it difficult in the Premier League.

Carragher has spoken of Marcus Rashford’s repeated exclusion from the squad and has suggested that the latter’s future at the club is over. For Manchester City, Carragher says they desperately need to rebuild ahead of their next campaign.
