Kid Rock Embraces New Celebs Who Support Trump: ‘Welcome To The Party’

Kid Rock got the party going by performing “Sweet Home Alabama” at Trump’s Mega Victory Rally on Sunday afternoon to kick off the event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

Following a performance of his signature song, titled 2022, which included the lyrics, “We all bleed red, brother, listen to me/It’s time for love and unity,” the rocker left the stage and fans chanted “USA .”

Ahead of the show, the singer stopped by “Fox & Friends Weekend” to talk about the power shift he’s feeling in the nation’s capital and Hollywood.

“It’s like the rebirth of our country,” the musician, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, told Lawrence Jones, Steve Dossey, Ainsley Ehrhardt and Brian Kilmeade. “I felt like at a UFC fight after the election, everybody was together, you know, going to the ring,” he said of the championship, which featured Trump supporters like Elon Musk and Dana White as well as the rocker for New.
