Incoming ‘border czar’ Homan foresees ‘well-planned’ deportations under Trump
Less than two days before President-elect Donald Trump returns to office, incoming “border czar” Tom Homan has shared a glimpse of his administration’s deportation plan to address the border crisis and illegal immigration.

“From day one, from day one of the campaign to today, President Trump has been clear that he will enforce the border and deport. There must be consequences for breaking our laws,” Homan told host Mike Emanuel.
“President Trump has had it. He has no patience. We’re going to start this operation and we’re going to carry out the mandate given to us by the American people.”
Blue state government has changed its tune after vowing to fight Trump’s deportation efforts, now hoping to fix the border.
The administration has vowed to crack down on mass deportations and strengthen border security. Officials said they plan to target those with criminal records and convictions, but warned that anyone in the United States could be arrested illegally. There are currently more than 7 million individuals on ICE’s detainer docket.
“We’re going to go back to the most secure border in my lifetime that President Trump had in his first administration, but this time we’re going to get the job done. When you secure the border, you save lives,” Homan argued.
Homan also spoke of the expected pressure response. “Sanctuary” cities It does not allow state and local law enforcement to honor ICE detainers – which requires ICE to know when illegal immigrants in custody are released.
“How many young women have to be raped and killed and set on fire until sanctuary cities understand this? It’s about public safety,” Homan said. “Every elected official, whether it’s mayor or governor or city council, your number one responsibility is to protect your own community. Help us. Come to the table and help us. We’re not asking you to be the head of immigration.
