Hollywood actress Elizabeth Chambers says not enough is being done by the government during the LA fires.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Chambers, 42, was asked if she believed city officials had done all they could to control the Los Angeles fires.

“I think it’s an accident,” she said. “I don’t think anybody was ready. I think it’s in the balance that nobody expected.”

Chambers shares her thoughts on billionaire real estate developer and former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso.

Chambers described the moment she had to leave as she immediately gathered her and her children’s belongings.

Chambers is helping raise money for California wildfire victims through her charity, Cupcake for a Cause.

The owner of the bakery is donating 100% of the proceeds from the Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes to the Los Angeles Fire Department through February 1st.

“Over the past 13 years, we’ve consistently created CUPCAKE FOR A CAUSE™️ to benefit the many tragedies and events in business, our community and beyond,” Chambers’ company said on Instagram earlier this week.

“My children and I have been displaced for the past 7 days and we are still praying for the safety of our home but we are lucky. This is truly unimaginable for many and this is our chance to help.”

“It’s a vanilla cake with sliced ​​strawberries and lemon buttercream,” Chambers told Fox News Digital. “And we’ve sold so many in the last few days, and the money goes directly to the LA Fire Department Foundation.”

“We’re turning lemons into lemons,” he said, adding that the flavor makes sense because 90% of the strawberries grown in the United States come from California.
