HDI Global SE Canada has established a new risk and health division

Insurance company HDI Global SE Canada has opened an Accident & Health (A&H) division in Canada and named Michael Kremm as head.

Krem previously served as National Distribution Director for Accident and Health Canada at AIG Canada.

With nearly two decades of insurance experience, Krem has expertise in the specialty risk group. He moved to Sun Life from AIG where he held sales management roles.

Creme’s experience will provide benefits to HDI’s special risk group, which is looking to strengthen its market position, HDI Global said.

Cream said: “I am delighted to be leading the launch of Accident & Health at HDI. Our goal is to enhance our service offerings and transform the benefits of the Special Risk Group by making it more streamlined and efficient for our valued customers.

HDI Global SE uses its global network to offer a range of products including group personal accident, sickness and business travel covers available in over 100 countries.

In November 2024 HDI Global has announced plans Expand its environmental protection insurance offering globally from 2025.

This expansion responds to the changing risk landscape and evolving regulatory requirements.
