Elon Musk gets DOGE suggestions from Sen. Warren, who takes an extra swipe

Far-left Senator Elizabeth Warren sent Elon Musk a lengthy list of recommendations for the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to consider, and took the opportunity to criticize the initiative as well as Tesla’s CEO. She had repeatedly attacked him in the past.
In his letter on Thursday, Warren told Musk. “She has the most serious concerns about DOGE’s process and policies that have been publicly discussed to date,” Musk said.

DOGE, a Democrat from Massachusetts, said she was disturbed by the dangerous proposals floated by the committee, which “appears to be a hotbed of corruption, allowing well-connected billionaires to enact government policies that enrich ordinary Americans while hurting them.” until now.

“But your broad point — that the federal government spends trillions of dollars on wasteful spending — is correct,” Warren said. “And to work together in good faith on government spending – in a way that doesn’t hurt the middle class – I have ideas for you to consider.”

She then listed 30 ideas to save taxpayer dollars, such as cutting wasteful spending at the Defense Department, more Medicare price controls, dismantling health care facilities and eliminating or reducing federal charter school spending, and closing tax loopholes for the wealthy.

Warren said her proposals would cut at least $2 trillion in federal spending over the next decade.

Warren, who has called for an investigation into Musk and his businesses in recent years, wrote a letter to Trump’s transition team last month demanding that Musk answer for “conflicts of interest” in removing DOGE.

The pair’s feud has spilled over into Musk’s X social media platform, with Musk naming her “Senator Karen.”
“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry mom was yelling at random people for no reason,” Musk tweeted back in 2021 to Warren on X at the time. “Please don’t call the admin on me, Senator Karen.”
