A narrowing field of contenders to become the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee has rejected longtime contenders and endorsed Ken Martin, chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.
DNC Vice Chair Martin, who chaired the Association of State Democratic Party Chairs, was considered the frontrunner for the DNC’s work.
Martin received a standing ovation after New York State Senator James Scofis dropped out of the race and endorsed him. Politico reported Thursday morning.
