Dave Chappelle Wishes Trump ‘Good Luck’ On SNL, Says ‘Do Better Next Time’
Comedian Dave Chappelle took aim at presidential contender Donald Trump during his “Saturday Night Live” monologue on Saturday, wishing the incoming president the best of luck and urging him to “do better next time.”
“The presidency is not a place for little people. Donald Trump, I know you’re watching the show. Man, remember whether people voted for you or not, it’s all about you. Like it or not, they are. It’s all about you,” Chappelle said.
Trump will be officially inaugurated on Monday, January 20.
“I mean, good luck. Please do better next time. Palisades or Palestine. Thank you very much!” the comedian continued.

Chappelle thanked Jimmy Carter in a monologue, recalling Carter’s visit to Israel and his walk through the Palestinian territories with little security.
“He will never forget the image of the US president walking unceremoniously with thousands of Palestinians cheering him on,” the comedian said.
Chappelle previously hosted the first “Saturday Night Live” program since Trump’s 2016 victory.
At the time, he said, “I am going to give him the opportunity, and we, the people who have been deprived of it in history, are also asking for it to be given to us.”

Hours after the 2020 race for President Joe Biden was officially called, Chappelle hosted SNL again.
“Now Trump’s gone,” Chappelle said before mocking Trump’s response to the coronavirus after hearing the president call him “Kung-Flu,” adding, “You racist, funny boy b—-,” adding, “It’s wrong to say that, not you.”
