About Dan Galpern.
Dan Galpern is the CEO of DanceOne and was appointed to the role in January 2025. He was previously a senior partner with TZP Group, a leading lower middle market private equity firm since 2008. Group, led the thesis development and strategic investment that created DanceOne in August 2023 – the largest institutional investment in the dance industry to date (previous coverage in Exec Edge
Dan He began his career in 1996 as a mergers and acquisitions associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. In the year He joined TD Capital Communications Partners as an Associate in 2000 and was promoted to Vice President in 2002. At TD Capital, Dan originated, executed and tracked private equity investments in the media, communications and business services industries. Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Lyft Brands, ASSOS of Switzerland, Christy Sports, SA Company, SAXX and DanceOne. For more than two decades, he has also served on the Children’s Rights Board, including his current role as chairman, and is a member of the Gotham Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization. and is the Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Dan received his BS in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1993 and his JD from Fordham University School of Law in 1996.
