Crystal Ball reveals 6 ways the news media is fighting Trump once and for all
brand newNow you can listen to Fox News articles!
Trump Times is about to turn two or T2 and reporters are already settling into old habits. Let’s look into a crystal ball (or Palantir for you Peter Thiel fans) or even grab a Magic 8 Ball and look at the next four years in the news.
Stock market types always say “past performance is no guarantee of future results.” This is true, but it is a good way to bet. Especially if past performance is more reliable than serving word salad in an interview with soon-to-be former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Therefore, the news media should report President Trump’s just issues.
is not. Even Vegas won’t take that bet.
Our long national BDN nightmare is almost over. Trump Invictus is now free.
So, great fate, what will be the big stories during T2?
1. Russia, Russia, Russia: We can hear a Jan Brady-esque voice saying these words over and over again. The three-word scam was the media narrative from round one. At this time, Russia is already big news. The war with Ukraine continues, and the rest of the Chinese-led alliance joins in. North Korean troops now fill the shrinking ranks of Russia.
Trump has promised to end the fight. Anything short of declaring war on Russian President Vladimir Putin, the press sees Trump as doing Russia’s bidding. Journalists rely on “experts” who hate the president-elect. Like 51 former intelligence officials who said Hunter Biden’s laptop was a Russian hack. Buy some Stoli and wait for the news.
2. It’s the economy, stupid: Journalists, mostly with dull jobs and living in big cities, are convinced that Biden’s economy has been good. For them. Forget the common brats who can’t afford food, rent or gas. They are not seeing the big picture. Hawaii is neglected and so is Appalachia. doesn’t matter. The stock market is up. In fact, only 62% of Americans invest and many of them don’t have much skin in the game.
Three surprising ways the far-left media helped Trump win again
Look for reporters to question whether Trump’s economy is bad. The game has been fixed. If inflation doesn’t improve… blame Trump. If so, kudos to President Biden. For all other economic measures – stock market, unemployment, GDP, trade, etc. Trump can solve homelessness and the press is screaming about social worker job losses.
3. Law abiding kind illegal immigrants: Trump was elected to fix the border and deport criminal illegal aliens. No one is on the team for illegal aliens more than journalists. They have spent years debunking every rape and murder of an illegal alien. As the crime escalated, the press became repressive. Many “news” outlets don’t even use words like “illegal alien”. They try to treat them as “refugees”. It’s like saying a car thief is a car enthusiast.
Now journalists try to return to one of their firm rules, “Comfort those who are in need, and distress those who are comfortable.” And who is more comfortable than a billionaire president? Sympathy for illegal immigrants fills their pages, websites and broadcasts.
Although they can be on their own. Many Democratic politicians understand climate change and support the Laken Riley Act, which targets criminal illegal aliens. The bill is named after a nursing student who was killed by an illegal immigrant.
One of the reasons why Democrats don’t accept it is because Trump won.
4. Musk, DOGE and those tech CEOs: Twitter CEOs have made public enemy number 1 in the press for their support of Trump (after Trump, of course). Musk is another villain who cannot be easily intimidated, controlled, and silenced. Look for journalists to capitalize on the differences between Musk and MAGA, as they did with H-1B visas.
The media narratives have already been written. Musk, who is from South Africa (journalists wink when he says this) is said to be supporting “right-wing extremists” around the world. Look for more evil tech CEO stories now that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is free to speak out and Post owner Jeff Bezos isn’t endorsing Harris. The left cannot survive in an open marketplace of ideas. Tech types are outraged by their demand for more neutrality.
5. Trump is too old: The media spent years looking for every sign that Biden wasn’t fully in control of his faculties. Then when he confirmed that he did not show up for work, they threw him under the bus. Still pretending he was a fit president, they hoped Harris would not bear their collective guilt for the state of the world.
Now, age and gerontocracy are back on the menu. Every time Donald slurs a word or grabs a railing, the narrative is that he’s too old. This is going to be a tough argument to push because every time Trump succeeds or outscores his opponents, it makes the news feel stupid.

6. Trump Lies: The DDC, the so-called fact-checkers, pretended that Trump always lied, all the violations of his presidency. The result was this classic post headline: “Trump’s False or Misleading Claims Total 30,573 in 4 Years.” We could do the same for the post, but in the words of “Animal House” alum John “Bluto” Blutarsky, “This could take years and cost millions of lives.”
As we head into T2, look for angry and suddenly unemployed fact-checkers to question every word Trump says. (For fun facts, here’s how the Posters got their own misrepresentation on Hunter Biden’s laptop.)
Honorable Name: This list can be 50 or 100 in length. Start with crime, both illegal immigrants and citizens. If jaywalking goes up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, they’ll blame Trump.

Then Congressional instability/Trump not being able to control Congress. If Republicans vote 100% for Trump’s ideas, they are puppets. And if they accept nothing, Trump has lost control.
Finally, there are ist/ism/phobe attacks. Journalists obsessed with the DEI world are calling Trump and his supporters racist/sexist/ageist/funky/scary/etc. The backlash of these types of legal discrimination in business and government warrants a media mania on the subject.
