Christina Applegate slams ‘sick’ people who enjoyed Hollywood destruction during Los Angeles fires
Actress and Los Angeles resident Christina Applegate is angry that some people seem to be enjoying the devastation the California wildfires have caused for local celebrities.
In her new room “Messy” podcast Along with fellow actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Applegate denounced anyone who suggested that Hollywood was suffering.
“There really are no words,” Sigler said of the devastation in the city.

“You know I have words? Um, you know, the people who say it’s good are Hollywood and those stupid Hollywood people,” Applegate replied. “Actually, you’ve got to be kidding me.”
“I think people who don’t live here feel like celebrities are just walking around and running everything,” she continued. “We’re just like a part of — we’re a little part of the city. I mean, this is a city where there’s a fast food chain or, you know, f— builders and painters, and it’s (a) huge group of people.”

“It really hurts to feel good about it, and I don’t like it at all,” the actress added.
Sigler implored her friend to tone down such talk, to which Applegate replied, “It’s ridiculous” despite her own.
“You know what everyone in LA has in common? They’re dreamers,” asserts Sigler.
“They’re all here for big dreams and they work from top to bottom, they f–ing a–es off. And they’re sure. Will a group of people who have been hurt have the ability to rebuild? Will there be – I won’t say easily, but soon yes and literally thousands of people who don’t know where to start.” are there?

Last week, several Hollywood stars lost their homes in different parts of the city. Stars including Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton, Milo Ventimiglia, Ricky Lake, Anna Faris, Spencer and Heidi Pratt lost their properties in the Palisades fire, which was only 17 percent contained as of Tuesday morning.
Other active fires in the city include the Hurst Fire, which is 35% contained, and the Eaton Fire near Pasadena. Since Monday, there have been new wildfires in Ventura County. It currently contains 0%.
