HOUSTON–( BUSINESS WIRE )– Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX ) today announced a total donation of $1 million to the California Fire Foundation, the American National Red Cross and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Disaster Recovery Fund. Wildfire efforts in California.

  • California Fire Foundation receives $500,000 to support first responders and provide financial assistance to affected residents
  • The American National Red Cross will receive $250,000 to support affected families with food, shelter, clothing, emotional support and financial assistance.
  • The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce will receive $250,000 to support business recovery efforts, enhance community engagement, and support disaster prevention and rebuilding programs.

In addition, Chevron will match eligible employee and retiree donations to wildfire relief efforts and financial contributions to employee volunteer organizations. The purpose of this joint funding is to help communities in times of crisis.

Chevron operates fields, technical facilities, pipeline assets and two refineries and serves more than 1,800 retail sites in California.
