California wildfires: Police shoot down floating fire theorists
as a Los Angeles wildfire It continues to consume parts of Southern California, destroying homes and displacing families, leaving many wondering how it all happened.
Authorities have deployed arson investigators to Pacific Palisades to determine the origin of the blaze that consumed thousands of buildings in the area.
“The cause of the fire remains undetermined and is under active investigation,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Christine Crowley said Thursday.

But some celebrities aren’t buying it.
“There’s an Arsonist in LA,” actor Henry Winkler wrote on X on Wednesday. “Unknown can beat you!!! The pain you bring!!!”
Actress Alison Sweeney simply responded, “I agree.”
Singer Chris Brown took to his Instagram stories on Thursday and wrote, “Someone started these fires. Don’t add s—.”
“Dancing with the Stars” Propeta Murgatroyd shared a tweet originally posted by political and cultural media personality Xaviaer DuRousseau: “Los Angeles / Southern California at least five men in ski masks starting fires. Get out.”

Television personality Elizabeth Chambers retweeted a screenshot of the arsonist’s reports.
“I feel this is more than nature,” she said. Instagram stories.
Popular podcaster and neuroscientist Andrew Huberman shared a Video by X It is believed to show people standing in what looks like a newly started fire in Santa Monica.
“People are setting fires,” Huberman said on X alongside the video. “We don’t want any more flames here. Some of those guys lit that fire … the tree is on fire, and the palms are burning.”
Despite various claims, the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News Digital that “we have not received any reports of arson.”
As of Thursday, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone declared the Eaton and Palisades wildfires 0% contained. The Eaton fire has spread to 10,600 acres, and the Palisades fire has reached 17,234 acres.
Another wildfire in Acton is 40% contained, Marrone said. The fire was contained to only 348 hectares.
Firefighters also successfully stopped the forward progress of the sunset fire Hollywood HillsOfficials said.

About 180,000 people have been displaced from their homes, and 200,000 others are being warned to evacuate.
