Caitlin Clark sat down with Taylor Swift in the Game of Thrones after the previous invitations

Kaitlyn Clark finally accepted Taylor Swift’s offer to watch a Kansas City Chiefs game together.

Clarke was seen in the same set as Swift at Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs’ divisional-round playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday.

It’s the first time Clarke and Swift have appeared in a game together, after Clarke said she was invited by Swift to join earlier this season.

Clark, a lifelong Chiefs fan, said in an interview with Time Magazine’s Athlete of the Year that Swift and Travis Kelce extended their invitation to Clark when she went to see Swift’s Eras tour concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in early November.

Clark said See Swift Eras tour three concerts, including two live nights when Swift was in Indianapolis in November. While she was there, Clarke said her fans threw so many friendship bracelets at her that it cut off her circulation when she put them all on.

“I had a ton, arm’s length. I had to turn them off. My circulation was going off,” Clarke said at the Women’s Leadership Summit in November. “Everyone was making fun of my bracelet.”

At that meeting, Clarke revealed that Swift was her favorite musical artist.

Kelce said in an episode of his podcast, “New Heights,” that he met Clark at one of those concerts. Later, she invited Clark herself for an extensive interview on the podcast.

Clarke was also recently featured next to Swift on the cover of Time magazine’s latest Inspirational Women special issue in late October. Clarke and Swift were the only two figures in the top row, and Clarke was the highest ranked athlete above veteran sports icons Serena Williams and Megan Rapinoe.

The resurgence of an old social media post from when Clarke was in college has brought her close fans together.

“Taylor Swift, welcome to the bright side,” Clarke wrote on Sept. 24, 2023. Stick on the X After Swift went public with her relationship with Kelsey in September 2023.

The outpouring of interest in Clark from Swift fans came after a controversial podcast episode of Clark’s. Rival Angel Reese In October.

Reese, who has played an emotional, high-profile game with Clark since college and made off-court comments about Clark’s fans, took on Kelsey’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, a promotional model, media personality and on-air performer. Host and entertainment journalist on Instagram.

During her appearance, Nicole Kelce revealed that she has been hating on relationships since she started dating Swift instead of her.

That interview sparked a heated debate on social media, with some defending Nicole and sympathizing with her alleged hate. However, others, and many clearly identified as Swift fans, criticized Nicole and Reese for the interview.

Many of those same Swift fans responded to Reese’s interview and declared themselves Clark fans. Clarke and Reese are one of the hottest rivalries in women’s sports right now, as their respective fanbases have been passionately opposing each other for over a year.

Clarke is associated with Swift’s political beliefs.

Earlier in Clark’s rookie season, she liked Swift’s Instagram post on Sept. 10, which announced her endorsement of singer Kamala Harris.

However, when asked about liking Swift’s endorsement of Harris, Clarke did not endorse the candidate herself. Clark instead gave a message about the importance of telling people to vote.

“I think I have this amazing platform for myself,” he told reporters at the Indiana Fever team press conference on September 11. “So I think the biggest thing is to encourage people to vote.” I think. It’s the second time I’ve been able to vote in an election, and that’s the biggest thing I can do in the platform I have – the same thing Taylor did.

“And I think, continue to educate yourself on the policies that we have, the candidates that we have. I think that’s the biggest thing that you can do. And that’s what I recommend to every person in our country that has the opportunity.”
