Bill Belichick’s girlfriend appeared to shut down any talk of her boyfriend leaving the North Carolina Tar Heels football program for a job in the NFL on Thursday.

Jordan Hudson responds to rumors that Belichick has one foot out the door when he comes to a Tar Heels gig. Belichick was reportedly interested in coaching the Dallas Cowboys, but the head coaching job wasn’t open until he was already in North Carolina. According to CBS Sports, Belichick has not signed his contract with the school.

She posted a photo on Instagram of the two from football and Belichick wearing Carolina blue.

“Pictured: two people committed to @uncfootball,” she wrote in the caption.

Michael Lombardi, the general manager of the North Carolina football program, threw cold water on rumors that Belichick was jumping on the fans.

“Bill is recruiting in DC today, and tomorrow in Baltimore. His focus is on North Carolina football, recruiting and developing the team. The NFL is not an option so please stop doing one. Thank you,” he responded on X. For CBS Sports Report.

“The reception from UNC and Coach Belichick has been amazing of any school we’ve visited. We will fight to keep North Carolina players here and bring the best to Chapel Hill,” he added.

Belichick was hired as the Tar Heels’ coach in December. He called his work “a dream come true.”

“I wanted to coach college football,” Belichick said at his introductory press conference. “I never really worked out. I had some good years in the NFL, so that was okay. But this is really a dream come true.”
