Biden disappeared as ‘The View’ co-host Joey Behar prepared to leave the office
“The View” co-host Joey Behar was mourning President Biden’s absence from the White House on Thursday, saying, “I miss him already,” following the president’s farewell speech.
I miss him. He is a good man. You know, he spent the last 50 years serving the country. You know, this other guy (Donald Trump) has spent 50 years trying to cheat everyone and stay out of jail. Who am I talking about, I feel like we’re okay with Biden, could I live my life without him?
“Every day I wake up and worry, what is this person going to do next?” She spoke about President-elect Donald Trump.
On Wednesday, Biden gave a farewell speech targeting “oligarchs.”
President Biden released a farewell letter saying, “It has been the privilege of my life to serve this nation.”
In his farewell speech, the president warned Americans that there was a “dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few rich people.”
“I would like to warn the country about some things that are of great concern to me. … That is a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a few very rich people. “The dangerous consequences of those who exercise power if they are not properly controlled,” he said.
Liberal media outlets praised the president’s speech, with commentators calling it one of the “best,” “memorable” and “moderate” speeches of their lifetime.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow focused primarily on parts of Biden’s speech in which he warned of a tech “oligarchy” threatening the country and a free press after Meta announced he was ending fact-checking on social media platforms.
“That’s vivid and salacious, and like I said, it sent chills down my spine,” Maddow said. “I think he’s right and I’m glad he took this time to say it.”
