Before and after the Pacific Palisades wildfire

The village of Palisades and Pacific Palisades were destroyed in the Los Angeles fire.

The video of the walk, filmed by lifestyle bloggers Simran and Ishaan in March last year, shows the lush gardens, villas, luxury shops and sea views that once characterized the area.

But ten months later, after the fire ravaged the neighborhood, a Reuters cameraman retraced the steps of the walking tour with footage of charred shells of buildings, crumpled cars and streets covered in ash and debris.
