Sajid Khan led Pakistan’s national cricket team’s commanding 127-run win over the West Indies in the first Test in Multan, with the spinner claiming an impressive nine-wicket haul. With this emphatic win, Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test against the West Indies.

Well, the seasoned spinner who is famous for his trademark “lap-five celebration” will always remember this Multan Test against the West Indies national cricket team as his dream came true at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

The off-spinner had earlier expressed his desire to join teammates Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in a trademark celebration to see if he could pull off a five-wicket haul during West Indies’ chase in Multan.

Sajid lived up to his promise, taking a crucial five-wicket haul to help the hosts successfully defend their target of 251 runs in the two-match Test series opener. The West Indies batting line-up collapsed as the tourists managed just 123 runs and the hosts registered a one-sided victory in the Multan Test on Sunday.

Pakistan Cricket shared a video on its official X handle, where Sajid Khan can be seen doing the famous celebration as he is joined by his captain Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. Rizwan and Babar were seen recreating Sajid’s high-five celebration, with the trio sharing some fun moments in Multan that are going viral on social media platforms.

Meanwhile, Sajid Khan was adjudged Man of the Match for his impressive nine wickets in both innings in the first Test against the West Indies. It also provides enough spin and spin, and the batsmen used it effectively at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
