AOC defends trans athletes in girls’ sport with hysterical outrage: ‘Trans girls are girls!’
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.A., was once again the subject of a viral grilling campaign after an unreserved outcry erupted on the floor of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Ocasio-Cortez spoke out against the Women and Girls Protection Act in a two-minute show that included both false and unsubstantiated claims. Her speech ended with the unproven claim that “CEOs will love this bill” in reference to the ongoing California wildfires.
The bill finally passed and headed to the Senate after all 216 House Republicans voted against it, along with just two Democrats. Meanwhile, 206 Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, opposed the bill.

Ocasio-Cortz opened her debate by referencing Republicans’ history of opposing “violence against women” and their position on abortion rights, a blatantly false claim.
“Republicans who have consistently voted against violence against women, who have stripped all women of their right to vote and control over their own bodies, are taking action by allowing women to bleed in parking lots across the country. We die. Now they want to pretend they care about women today! Ocasio-Cortz He said.
Abortion is currently protected by state law in 21 states and the District of Columbia, and President-elect Trump has repeatedly said that abortion rights will be granted only to states under his administration.
Ocasio-Cortz was one of many Democrats to push back against unsubstantiated claims that the law would sell young girls to sex predators.
“And why? In the name of gender-opening and yes, genital exams on little girls in this country, attacking trans girls!” Ocasio-Cortez continued.
Nowhere in the bill does it say that girls or women will be subjected to genital examinations to participate in sports. But Ocasio-Cortz, along with House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries and other Democrats, pointed to that opportunity as a key argument against the measure.
“Many now say there is no place in this bill for genital testing. So here’s the thing, there is no enforcement mechanism in this bill. And if there is no enforcement mechanism, they open the door to every enforcement. Mechanism!” Ocasio-Cortz said.
How the transition in sports changed the 2024 election and stirred the national culture
The bill would make it a violation of Title IX of the Education Reform Act of 1972 to prohibit federally funded educational programs or activities that allow male students to participate in the programs or activities. assigned to women or girls.

Ocasio-Cortz has been a consistent advocate for trans inclusion in women’s sports and has previously used the term “savior” to describe those who oppose it. In November, Ocasio-Cortez re-shared a video of Green Party VP candidate Butch Weir speaking out against trans inclusion in women’s sports, captioning it, “This is a ticket hunter and people deserve better.”
And now, while many in her party and the liberal media publicly deny support for trans inclusion, Ocasio-Cortez isn’t wavering on her stance on what constitutes a woman or a woman.
“Trans girls are girls!” Ocasio-Cortz said at Tuesday’s hearing.
Ocasio-Cortez then began rambling on and on about the matter.
“And to all the people who really care, thank you for your concern about women for the first time. I don’t know all of you. I don’t know who has been to gym class lately. But girls, even if you believe there are only two sexes, I’ve always played co-ed sports!” She said before moving on to another point.
Ocasio-Cortez’s next point was to warn that the bill could lead to an appreciation of traditional feminism.
“And this opens the door, for women to draft this draft to try to do a very different kind of feminism for men, and to open up the question of who we are as a woman based on appearance. How we present ourselves and, yes, what we choose to do with our bodies,” she says.
The bill says nothing about how biological women dress, present themselves, or make any physical or physical decisions.
Ocasio-Cortz concluded her speech by saying the bill was favored by the “biggest” and the “strikers,” before making her connections to CEOs and the California wildfires.
“The big guys love this bill. The lobbyists love this bill, but the CEOs love this bill. Because Los Angeles is on fire right now, and that’s the number one priority,” she said before leaving the stage.
Ocasio-Cortez came under fire on social media for her comments on Tuesday.
