‘He’s not ready for the Premier League,’ said South American football expert Tim Vickery.

Speaking to Sky Sports News about Vitor Reis, South American football expert Tim Vickery said:

“Palmeras are at the Club World Cup and will be desperate to keep hold of the centre-back, who turns 19 next week.

“I don’t think he’s anywhere near the Premier League at the moment. He’s talented but he needs to fill in physically.”

“Palmeras are producing a lot of good players recently – most of them are strikers.

“If you put him in the Premier League at the moment, he would be a real bully. So maybe it would be in everyone’s best interest to stay in Brazilian football for a bit longer.”

But Palmeras refuse to sell the World Cup before then.
