A Texas man will spend years in federal prison after being found guilty of organizing a human trafficking scheme that involved thousands of illegal immigrants.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas announced that 35-year-old Issay Orona, who goes by “Panda,” was sentenced to 54 months in prison.
Trump’s snowball has netted hundreds of prisoners, including illegal immigrants convicted of heinous crimes.

He said he had a network of drivers who helped smuggle illegal immigrants in at least 12 cars. When US Border Patrol agents arrested an accomplice transporting nine illegal immigrants in El Paso, they discovered the vehicle used was registered to Orona.
He was arrested on November 20, 2023 and pleaded guilty to the charges on July 12, 2024.

In addition to four and a half years in prison, the court awarded Orona a $250,000 fine.
