Formula 1’s first all-team start announcement for the 20 drivers on the grid at London’s O2 Arena on February 18 has raised doubts about whether the teams will still carry out their usual pre-race preparations individually.

Speaking at Ferrari’s annual pre-Christmas media day, Italian team principal Frederic Vasseur confirmed February 19 as the launch date for their respective teams, which could be the case across the grid.

Williams announced the reveal ahead of the F1 special’s 75th anniversary, which suggests the launch calendar may take on the familiar form of teams holding their events in February.

Below are all the launches confirmed so far.

F1 special event: starts on February 18

Formula 1’s 75th anniversary will be celebrated in a special event at London’s O2.

All 20 drivers will take part and there will be interviews with key players in the sport as well as live music performances and fan entertainment.

Tickets for the event reportedly sold out in less than an hour, with fans eager to get their first glimpse of the much-changed grid after years of relative stability.

Teams are expected to introduce the new liveries on the 2024 cars, as opposed to revealing new contenders for the 2025 season.

Williams: It starts on February 14

Williams have confirmed that the FW47 will debut at Silverstone on Valentine’s Day.

The event could be Carlos Sainz’s first official media appearance as a Williams driver since switching from Ferrari after being replaced by Lewis Hamilton.

Williams will provide the car at the same time with Science and Alex Albon saving the reveal for the 2025 season, which will be used for the team’s start on February 18.

In a statement following the unveiling, Sainz said: “We’re not far from the launch of the Silverstone car and I can’t wait to see my new ride!”

Ferrari: Starts on February 19

Whether he intended it or not, Vasseur lifted the lid on what will be a highly-anticipated Ferrari launch ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s first season with the team.

In previous years, the media could have been given a more in-depth opportunity to talk to Hamilton and his new teammate, Charles Leclerc.

It remains to be seen whether Ferrari will use this event to reveal their actual 2025 design or wait until testing a week later.
