American Airlines has announced alcohol-free options and health-based meals for 2025
As the first month of 2025 draws to a close, Americans can still stick to healthy New Year’s resolutions.

Five new mocktails have been added to Admiral’s Clubs that contain turmeric, ginger, elderberry juice and other healthy ingredients.

Cisek added, “We want our passengers to arrive at their final destination feeling completely satisfied so that they can enjoy the adventures that await them in America.

Earlier this month, US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy issued guidelines linking alcohol to at least seven types of cancer.
“Alcohol is a well-established and preventable cause of cancer that accounts for nearly 100,000 cancer cases and 20,000 cancer deaths in the United States each year…yet most Americans are unaware of this risk,” Murthy said.
The airline has partnered with fitness app FitOn to offer travelers guided stretching videos and meditation practices.
“Sitting for long periods of time, especially on long flights, can lend itself to muscle stiffness and poor circulation — all of which can be prevented with a few simple stretches from the comfort of your seat,” Cisek added.
