Chris Pratt’s former home and son’s school ‘lost’ in California fires
Chris Pratt shares how the LA fires affected his family after the disaster left more than 12,000 homes and businesses in ashes.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star took to social media to “check out” the house and the city after he hasn’t returned since the fire.
“It’s miraculous that it’s still standing. By the grace of God, we have four walls and a roof,” said Pratt, leaning on his faith in “a tough few weeks.”

“It’s really devastating, as you know,” Pratt added.
The 45-year-old actor went on to say that the “silver lining” in the middle of the terrible fire was that the house was saved, but “a lot of people’s houses were burnt” in the area.
“Community is gone, my son’s school is gone, my son’s mother’s house is on fire,” he said, referring to Anna Faris’ former home.

“It’s just wild and we’re resilient … we trust in God and take it all as a blessing.”
Pratt concludes the video by saying that he will provide further updates and that “it’s been inspiring to see how our community has come together.”
In his Instagram post, the actor wrote, “Praying for LA and all those affected, we will get through this together. God bless.”
TV presenter La Fayre called it a ‘disaster’, saying what was done by elected officials was not enough.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the Hughes Fire in Castac was 0 percent contained and had burned about 9,300 acres, according to Cal Fire.
Although 4,000 firefighters battled the blaze, it quickly spread, forcing more than 50,000 people to evacuate the area, according to LA County Sheriff Robert Luna.

Meanwhile, Southern California firefighters continued to battle the Palisades and Eaton fires yesterday. Since rising on January 7, they have killed at least 28 people and destroyed more than 14,000 buildings. It was 91%.
The photo shows Farris’ multimillion-dollar Pacific Palisades home engulfed in flames and completely destroyed shortly after the fire first broke out.

A representative for the artist told Fox News Digital at the time, “Anna and her family are safe and very grateful.”
Pratt and Faris share a 12-year-old son, Jack. Pratt is currently married to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter Katherine. The two They tied the knot in 2019 and have three children together.
