The former cricketer has suggested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to remain silent, as he feels silence is the best answer for India. Basit also urged the PCB to simply e-mail them to record their protest and that India’s decision should not offend Pakistan.
Basit Ali says PCB should write an email to BCCI and register their protest.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Basit Ali said, “India refused to print Pakistan’s name on the jersey and Rohit Sharma will not go to Pakistan. But why are you upset? Silence is the best answer. If they don’t want to print, they shouldn’t print. If Rohit Sharma doesn’t want to come to the opening ceremony, he shouldn’t come. It’s very simple. PCB should write an email to BCCI and register their objection. We don’t have to do anything more.
