“Hopefully he (Gautam Gambhir) will feel a bit more settled and the pressure will be off. There will be new young players, which will be easier for him than the tournament in Australia. It is important to win these matches,” Manjrekar told ESPNcricinfo.
“It makes him feel part of that team, but what happens in the Champions Trophy and England tour can spoil all the good work he could do before that. So these are the two tournaments,” Manjrekar added.

After the T20I series, India and England will play a three-match ODI series. Following this, both teams will head to Dubai and Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
