Kid Rock Embraces New Celebs Who Support Trump: ‘Welcome To The Party’

Kid Rock got the party going by performing “Sweet Home Alabama” at Trump’s Mega Victory Rally on Sunday afternoon to kick off the event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

Following a performance of his signature song, titled 2022, which included the lyrics, “We all bleed red, brother, listen to me/It’s time for love and unity,” the rocker left the stage and fans chanted “USA .”

Ahead of the show, the singer stopped by “Fox & Friends Weekend” to talk about the power shift he’s feeling in the nation’s capital and Hollywood.

“It’s like the rebirth of our country,” the musician, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, told Lawrence Jones, Steve Dossey, Ainsley Ehrhardt and Brian Kilmeade. “I felt like at a UFC fight after the election, everybody was together, you know, going to the ring,” he said of the championship, which featured Trump supporters like Elon Musk and Dana White as well as the rocker for New. York City.

“There’s this amazing feeling … you’ve heard it a million times, it’s America’s back,” explained the “Born Free” singer.

After Kid Rock secured Trump’s Oval Office in November, Hollywood seemed to embrace him as the nation’s leader, reluctant to lend his support.

“Now four to eight years after stubbing a toe, they feel like it’s okay to go in the water,” he joked. “Like I said, welcome to the party. Better put them off the board,” he added.

Carrie Underwood, who is known for her isolation from the political scene, shocked some when it was announced that she would perform “America the Beautiful” at Trump’s inauguration last week: “I am honored to be asked to sing here because I love our country.” graduation and to be a small part of this historic event,” the country star said in a statement.

Actors Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight, who were named “special ambassadors” last week by Trump for “a great, but very troubled place, Hollywood, California,” all had good things to say or say about Trump in public. They were fans. Voight also attended Sunday’s rally.
